You have to stand up-
stretch,
stretch,
and stretch some more,
if you want to embody
your place
in this space.

There are a million ways
to be a light,
-bring a beacon of hope,
when all else seems dark-
to speak love,
to speak truth,
to speak grace.

We are
all connected,
all important,
all related,
all seeing the whole
in our own
different ways.

But none of that
will do any good,
if we can’t learn
to put ourselves
in another’s place.
