The ocean
will not judge those
who come to her feet.

She is practically endless,
wide beyond what the eyes can see,
unfathomable in belief-
and one of the great keepers
of earth’s well-kept mysteries.

I wonder and ponder
at the truths in her seas.
Worlds within worlds within worlds
-she holds layers of stories-
a sentinel
a sentient
a sediment of history.

She lays herself bare
for those who dare
to dive deep-
face their darkness
face their complexities
face their own selves, joys, and griefs.

I’ve told her all my secrets,
nothing is too big to bring her pause
for still she rushes on…

Each limitless wave her reminder-
You are seen.
You are loved.
You belong.
